Sea Pines Golf Resort, just 0.4 mile (4 blocks) from The Birdhouse, hosts Classic Rock cover bands from May through November each year. Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to buy food or beverages at the venue. No outside food or beverages are allowed. Dance and relax among local folks, and bring the kids.
The Olde Alehouse, just 5 blocks from The Birdhouse, hosts local bands throughout the year; in summer, both on weekends and mid-week. The venue is a beer garden setting with patio heaters and gas fire rings. Families do attend, but there's not much for kids to do.
