Our 700-square-foot guest quarters consists of a large bedroom with queen bed and walk-in closet, a full bathroom, and a living area with an entertainment center, dining table, wet bar, and natural history library. Two folding rollaway beds can be set up either in the bedroom or living area. Basic appliances are provided for refrigerating and reheating meals, and preparing coffee or tea. The décor features wildlife art and missions-style furniture. French doors open to an outdoor patio with seating and a propane heater. There’s a second outdoor seating area and fenced yard behind the guest quarters, which dogs can access via a doggy door. Free Wi-Fi is available for those who wish to telework from The Birdhouse. This is a semi-rural location however, and upload speeds currently range between 310 and 360 Mbps. The entertainment center consists of a 40-inch flatscreen TV, equipped with Roku and an HDMI cable that allows you to project anything viewed on your computer. We do not have cable service per se.
